I love starting the day with a coffee and pastry at the Clocktower. The quality is very good and the staff are pleasant creating a lovely atmosphere.I have tried a number of breakfasts and meals, which have been really tasty and well prepared, especially the Clocktower Frying Pan, a great signature dish.
Another great find. A very popular cafe which was very busy, always a good sign.We had garlic mushrooms, avocados, chilli flakes on toast and also fried eggs on toast.Beautifully presented and delicious. The only reason for a 4 rather than a 5 was because the sourdough bread was very tough.A must if you are in the area, a pretty cafe with outdoor seating and lovely atmosphere inside.

It was a busy Sunday lunchtime. We sat ourselves, as it didn’t look like anyone was going to acknowledge us, but a server did eventually come to take our order. He wasn’t very warm or welcoming, though.Otherwise, the sandwiches were good. The salmon bagel and chicken, bacon and guacamole sandwich were tasty and filling. There was a slice of avocado in my bagel that was unripe and quite hard, which was unfortunate, but overall, I still enjoyed my meal.
